The work done on Education during President Musharaf period was commendable but finger pickers can always frustrate the already frustrated nation. Our biggest problem has become to chain the Media and shut their mouths. It is very easy to pick a finger but it is most difficult to deliver. The writer has been involved in helping Pakistan in the education matter and thus has some credentials to write. Pakistan education suffers because of multiple factors related with erosion of our cultural values, corruption, nepotism, unionism, religion, lack of funds, non availability of trained and committed teachers, failure of the society and on and on. To put the education sector on the right path some body have to make a consistent efforts on all the above issues. Now just think how can some body can change all by an order. Naturally he or she has to start with the existing setup where Education is controlled by the most corrupt, Unionist, Politically hyper teaching Conservative right wing community.My sister is a taecher and she tell me that teachers come to the school with TASBI and all day they are sitting and counting TASBI and headmistress tried to tell them and they created such a scandal and Head Mistress was declared QADIANI. Now what solution the MR HINGER LIFTER ASHRAF ASAD has? Once I saw some excellent Computer books and asked my sister from where they have come? She proudly replied that she attended a course. When I asked does she know any thing about computer? she relied she is too old to learn. The problem is culture. And even biggest problem is those finger lifters like Mr Ashraf Asad and thousands of Dogs frustrating the already frustrated nation. During President Mushraf time great work was done on Education. Education requires consistent professional efforts from the people who understand and committed to take action.
