  1. I’m 100% agree with Prof Arshad Javad point of view, our nation’s biggest dilemma is exactly what Prof explain in his latter, our future leaders educated in England or America because they think only english speaking people’s know how to govern sub-continent’s peoples, recent example is Balawal Bhotto Zardari studied in England for govern us in future he even did not know the basic problems of Pakistani people. But they all still believe that english rulers are master of all trades. And my beloved country people give there votes for ‘Kema wala Nan’.They even don’t know there plaining for how they destroy my country.Because there planing are in english they communicate with each other in english so that the common person can’t understand.

  2. AOA Javed Chaudhry sab, I am thankful to Arshad Javed sab for raising the nation’s attention to this very important issue. I also studied in Urdu Medium and Alhamdulilah I had my Masters degree from a very reputed University in PK in field of Business Management. Now a days, I am abroad for more education and to gain some practical experience in this developed world.

Before going into any details I would like to say here that my nation is incredibly talented and it have all that what it takes to turn things around. We are just lacking somewhere and that is “Equality” in some basic things which eventually spread over everything. I also understand that that “inequality” is self created by some thousand of people/families from decades just to keep this whole nation as toys in their hands. Just imagine if this nation has done so many good things as a whole even after playing in hands of corrupt thousand of people for decades, how much it would and shall contribute when the command will be in right hands. I am optimistic and I can very much feel the change of thinking in nation and I am very sure the next 20-30 years or 2-3 generations will take this country to different levels of progress and prosperity. Now when I talk to youngsters/collegates in our nation I feel a level of parity in their views as a nation and it seems that they have addressed to real problems of this nation and this is a good omen for a bright future of this country. Inshallah

Javed sab, My base is also “Urdu Medium” even I would like to mention “So called” Urdu Medium because till 5th grade teachers were used to explain alot of stuff in Punjabi. Which I think was not totally a bad idea because they were aware that our mother language was Pujabi and in fact helped the students to grasp the very basic things at that time. And I am not sure but if the students like me were forced for English at that level that might have caused for a permanent run from School,,,education (would have been a permanent loss for generations) So, I am whole heartedly agree that our law-makers MUST go for one language as a medium of study till 8th grade for whole nation and lock the decision for atleast 30-40 years. After the 8th grade different languages can be introduced not just English or Arabic but also any contemporary languages of the nations making rapid advancement in any fields of life. So that when our students go for higher education to any part of the world they should not fall behind in their field of study. And till 8th grade that one language is more preferably should be URDU it will not only help in bringing the whole nation at one same level, help in exploring and setting new dimensions of our progress but will also be something to help to keep our unique standing among nations of this world.

    Positive attitude is everything!

    Thanks and regards,
    M.Chaudhry
